Wow...this band (Elkland) totally blew me away when I went to see Erasure in Chicago a few weeks ago. I bought there album almost immediately after they concluded their set and have had it on almost constant rotation for the past week or so.
They don't really sound like erasure, except for a few beeps and whistles from time to time, but they have a good guitar/synth sound that a lot of you people would appreciate.
I guess they are from New York and have a good following.
I sure wish the search function still worked, I could search to see if anyone brought this topic up...
