I base this on the fact that I'm tired and should be in bed, but also because (as you probably already know) it's been twenty-five years since Ian Curtis died, and I just got to thinking about how the year he died (1980) stands in most people's minds ![]()
Consider the evidence: besides the obvious loss of Mr. Curtis, we lost
Peter Sellers (July 24) Bon Scott (February) Steve McQueen (don't know which month) John Lennon (Dec 8)
And there was Mount St. Helens, Reagan elected, Iran Hostages Crisis....
On the other hand, I turned one on October 9 :D
