All seen in Boston in small clubs except NO (15,000) Great Woods. Saw Hooky twice at the tiny AXIS club. He told me to relax both times. His bass sounds better live in a small venue. It was aces!

Their drummer is one of the most motivating people I have seen live. He makes people stand up and take attention to him! You cannot stand there and just bob your head up and down, he literally forces you to move your body in violent ways!...what a memory!

I was at the 242 Riviera show. Good show. All I really remember was the tv screens and people shouting ":242 242 242!~" Welcome to Paradise was the encore, one guy came out for it. Saw them again for Lallapolozazazazaz. Their tape machine or sequencer took a shit on them.

Seeing 242 on the Tyranny >For You< tour would have been incredible. Gripped By Fear and Rhythm of Time live...what a zinger. Do you have a setlist from that show?

1. New Order in Sydney 2002 because it was the first and only time they've been here since I became a fan. And it was great!

2. Monaco in Manchester 1997 because it was my first visit to manchester (I was soooo excited!!!) and my closest encounter with New Order at the time. It was at Manchester Uni and was like $10 and I was so thrilled to be there.

3. Tori Amos in 1995? in Sydney in our State Theatre which is a very beautiful old theatre. She was amazing; one chick and a piano.

I was a big fan of F242 up until about that time. Best 242 show I saw was the 1989 tour shows. Very funny and very good at the same time although I don't think they were supposed to be funny...

Damn though I wish I'd added in Revolting Cocks in Glasgow to my list of gigs. A mad, bad, wild and out of its head show. I was in a band with Chris Connelly at one point - great guy although I wish I'd seen RevCo with the 1986 line up.

U2 - every single time I have seen them. Brillant!

New Order, PIL, Pixies and that Bork group in Milwaukee 1987. All together

INXS in 84 when they opened for Adam Ant(how'd a thunk)!

Agree with SLF of mid- to late-80's vintage, should have had them in my list, Burns and the boys always put on a fantastic show, reckon if anything they're underrated.
