Just for your note, unless you sort your issues with Jeff, he's a moderator and said you are not welcomed to post on this forum.
So either you respect his will, either you'll be suspended on the whole website.
I suggest you too sort this out privatly, but until then, do not post here, since I can't ban people on forum basis YET, I'll have to ban you from the whole website.
And this is not what I want to do.

I can't even express just how absolutely fcuking disgusted I am with this situation. I've met both Mike and Jeff, though obviously know Mike better due to demographics as much as anything, and both are sound lads. But to see one barred because of the other makes me rather angry. I've posted here for 4 years, have met the majority of the regular posters and have put up hard cash to keep things ticking over. I don't like to be told I can no longer read Mike's posts just cos he's had a tiff with someone else.
Sorry people, I had to do this, because now it was getting quite stupid with all the deleted posts and everything...
I do hope they will sort it out, but from what I've read privatly, I'm not sure it will happen.... 
P/S: Tristan, you do know it wasn't your smartest move to personify Mike right? you've done this twice yet.. avoid to do it again.
Now I don't know, but this might have contributed to put more oil on the fire...

If I may , I'd like to echo these sentiments and those of James Thomas , I've met neither of the lads involved BUT I have been both entertained AND pissed off with the content of their/everyones posts/subject matter for the past 18 months , however like Al and most other folk on these boards , it is my choice to read them or switch off . However to use Jarvos line , I dont like to be told I can no longer read Mikes's posts following a tiff , my support is as ever for the WHOLE of the site , not just the little fiefdom's that hitherto I'd been unaware of .
Just to echo the sentiments expressed above and throw my two penn'orth into the ring, it strikes me that the moderation facility may have gone somewhat awry here. The role of the moderator is surely supposed to keep tabs on fair play and no OTT language etc, basically anything that falls foul of the Terms of Use. It isn't supposed to be one moderator basically calling the shots and taking it on himself to effectively ban a user, without the consensus of the other moderators, several of whom have already expressed their concerns at what has happened. This seems to be a unilateral move by Jeff, and it ain't right to me. Moderators have a responsibility to the site and the community to be fair and even handed, and I'm not sure this is necessarily the case here.
My two pence... I along with pretty much most of the board think this has probably gone on long enough. It's getting silly now and obviously pissing off alot more people than just Mike and Jeff. Ultimately they're the only two people who can sort this out and it's a mystery to me why neither of them have sent some sort of a "Right, let's sort this out regardless of blame etc." email to each other. Somebody has to step forward and be the big man here no matter who thinks they're in the right.
I can see both sides. Jeff is a moderator and sometimes moderating isn't popular but has to be done. Some of the comments Jeff's had levelled at him especially from twats like Spike (No need for "fuck head" etc.) are pathetic beyond belief. For those comments alone I think the select few who have gotten personal are alot more in need of a warning/ban than Mike. Such 'personally offensive comments' do violate the community guidelines everyone agreed to after all. At the same time, banning Mike without attempting to sort the situation with him over email may be a bit harsh but then I don't know for sure if this has been attempted or not. Mike's been an irritating twat :) in MFP at times it has to be said, but he's not a bad person I think.
All I know is if this is still going on one week from now =

Diggy Mike is a funny cunt, he bitches and moans about BM/same setlists/shite studio work, and his love for Juliet Binoche, but like many have said, you can choose to read his stuff or not. Maybe there's something else going on between Jeff/Diggy that we don't know about, cuz I don't see what was so bannable about him.

I won't copy Mike again, but it did no harm. The higher frequenting posters of NOOL either picked it up, or I had told them over MSN. I only did it because I wanted Jeff to delete my posts as well, and I told Jeff right after the first time I caught him deleting my posts when guised as DMB.
Anyone who had read the threads that provoked Jeff would clearly see that it was right for Jeff to delete DMB's posts. Let's just forget how much of a condescending cunt he is, and focus on how this was brought up. Jeff made an innocent post commenting on System 7/NO, and DMB started to insult him and didnt refrain from doing so. He was warned, didn't stop, and had action promptly taken on him. He aggravated and disrespected a moderator who was appointed by the creator of the site.

c´mon, Al. you know what Tim meant there. it´s obvious you´re one of the trusted and respected ones as well as others who aren´t moderators. in fact you´re more important and contribute to this community more than me, for example. but for being a moderator you need one thing apart from all that and it´s TIME. time for being around here enough to not miss potential conflicts, and i have lots of time unfortunately. and because we asked to be one OR said "yes" when Nic offered us to be one, just that. i don´t think there´s anyone better to moderate the Portuguese forum than Ricardo, for example. and that goes with every forum here. that doesn´t mean we´re the upper class or anything like that. i hope that´s clear because i´m against that type of idea. every part of the community is important. and because of that we must post with respect because our freedom ends when the freedom of others begin and nobody wants to be insulted. besides, how many people were actually banned or even suspended? very few, and with strong reasons. so i don´t think this is a fascist-type of forum really.
