Who didn't see this coming? 
Jackson will still be considered a sick freak, and now he's got a free pass to continue doing those horrible things he's probably done. Apparently in California, you can get away with anything as long as you're a celebrity 
I wanted him to go down so he wouldn't release any more shitty records or float statues of himself down the Thames.
But now it looks like he's free to do all that and more....

No comment!Am I the only one here who thought he was innocent the whole time? I'm not sure why but I didn't believe he was capable of doing any of the things he was accused of. Also, the boy did admit to having lied before, so that wrecked his case right away as far as I'm concerned. I reckon now that Jacko's going to think twice before he ever tries to help out any more sick children if this is how they repay him.

It's not that simple though, is it? I mean, what grown man in his 40's shares a bed with an unrelated boy?! You're gonna be wide open to accusations. There's something amiss there, whether it was actual abuse or whether Jackson still seems himself as the man-boy and can't reason that this is an entirely inappropritate thing to do at his age.
He was always going to be found innocent, there didn't appear to be one new shred of evidence to damn otherwise. If there's any doubt, he had to be found innocent. And there was more than enough doubt from start to finish.

I still think his actions with children are inappropriate, but I am not sure he molested this kid. The case against him was pretty shoddy with the timeline, and crap witnesses. The only strong thing against him was his prior actions (in 93 I think he did molest that kid).

I have to give you that, the accusor and his family weren't the perfect witnesses one would want in a case like this. But I do think holding the actions of the family against them would be just as wrong as holding Jackson's past actions against him, so the jury got away with hating on the accusor and won't be punished for it. After all, Justice is supposed to be blind, and not everyone is going to be innocent but if they have the evidence then they deserve a fair trial. That's my one real qualm with the whole thing, it sounds like the jurors took it personally that the family was so shady.

They didn't take it against the family, they took it against Tom Sneddon. For every inconsistency Meserau pointed out, Sneddon didn't really refute it. The jury took didn't like the strange timeline of events presented by the prosecution and the witnesses' testimonies. Oh yeah and they had it in for the bitch whore mother :p
He's a Twat, but the parent's basically prostituted their kid's. How sad is that.
