I'll be having one when tomorrow begins in about 10 hours. Mustard usually, although HP has been known to make an appearance. Ketchup doesnt go well with bread.

Apparently bacon sarnies are a novelty over here. My mates think its disgusting. They hate HP too. And marmite. And they think youre not supposed to put vinegar on your chips. Muppets!

A bacon sandwich?! For fucks sake no wonder people think English food is sick. Try sticking tomato, lettuce another slice of bread and some turkey in it. Then you'll have something worth eating

ok if you're talking MANLY breakfasts you want to start with a morning apertif of double scotch, followed by bacon and eggs and suasage and toast drowning in grease and tobasco sauce, then savor the taste of a pack of Player's Navy Cut medium cigarettes, a man's man cigarette.

You're balls will be twice as big that day.

Never much liked breakfast foods, but i've always been particular towards waffles with bacon cooked into them.

I can highly recommend Lea & Perrins Tomato and Worcester sauce on a bacon sarnie, tangier than red sauce and a little spicier than brown :thumb:

Mustard normally reserved for sausages.

I don't know if this counts as breakfast; it's 3am. I'm making spring rolls from scratch and trawling neworderonline while the filling cools. I've been out drinking and came home with a desperate hankering for spring rolls...tried to come home with some random guy but they were all too good looking and gay. Sigh.

Er, I had oatmeal for breakfast - nothing too manly. But vegetarian bacon is good with melted cheese on a bagel, with tomato and lettuce possibly.

To celebrate my 7000th post, I will say that I had a Hershey's candy bar for "brunch" when I clocked in to work this afternoon (woke up at ten, had to be there by twelve, wasn't anything here at the house and I wasn't that hungry until I got there so...)

Anyway, happy 7000. No frills, please

Been thinking about having a bacon sarnie, or 2, since the last lager. But the sauce issue is causing problems. Ketchup, HP or chilli? Wonder what a mixture of all 3 would taste like? HP will probably win, the old reliable.

What is HP brown sauce? In the states, "brown sauce" usually means the stuff on Chinese food.

I've decided on a diet of not eating and just drinking Coke. My stomach is growling as we speak (hope my sis and bro come by so I can get some lunch :nervous:  :banghead: )

Mmmm... Bacon. BLTs!!! Anyone had turkey bacon? I can't wait for my tomatoes to rippen and I will be eating tons of tomatoe samwiches - mayo, salt and pepper. I't the bomb! Ahhh... veggie bacon... just add the chemical nitrate, amoke flavoring and anything will taste like bacon ;)

Had a very good breakfast this morning at Kell's, a sausage roll topped with a Bordelaise sauce, very very tasty stuff. Washed it down with five pints of Stella, drinking with some other early birds, before we headed down to watch the Mets pitch batting practice to the Mariners.
