Today is going to be rainy and cold. All three of my treasures are sick and snotty so I am going to dose them up and we are going stay in our pajamas and watch tv all day long. I might bake cake for dinner. Yesterday we got the BBC series of Lion Witch & Wardrobe out on DVD so we can watch that. And we got My Fair Madeline.
I may not shower or brush my hair.
Can anyone beat that for an exciting day?

Tomorrow is a "half" day at work. Bank holiday on friday :D
I wish we had bank holidays. We used to live in England and Ireland and there was a bank holiday almost every month - bliss!

It's midsummer eve here in Sweden on Friday. I might post some pics, so you can see the crazy swedes dancing round a stick decorater with flowers.

Worked from 3 am to 9 am here, including driving a big truck through narrow city streets whilst trying to read the minds of all of the idiot drivers around me. Yard work until just a few minutes ago, it's 1 pm here. Got the beer on ice, it's a nice day today, and I'll probably watch the third season DVD of Space Ghost: Coast To Coast this afternoon.

I started the day at a pep talk for my daughter going fulltime at school, and got a 2 hour session with her new headmistress,who was eccentric and fun but very thorough.She is going to be well nurtured there, me thinks:D Then I took the daughter and son for dinner,and we got the paddling pool out and had a barbie for tea,gotta make the most of this weather. I'm still having a nice few tins of guiness.Off work till Monday. HYDE PARK FRIDAY..FOOKIN GET IN THERE.I can't tell you how exited I am.... Cheers me dears

Cheer up:) I have many of the same crosses to bare as you.Its a real downer when the kids get bad and you gotta work too, I know.But you clearly adore your kids, as it should be,and they in turn will love you forever.Nobody can beat that
Went to work for an easy shift (4-8 up front, bagging groceries). Considering that I'll be there pretty much all day every day for the next three days, I might as well consider this my "day off" :D
Just got home, I'm listening to the Mets=Phillies game and munching on Saddam's favorite snack food (Doritos). Who knew we had so much in common? Doritos, caveman views of women, mass murdering sprees, admiration for Reagan...okay, he's alone on that one
For the last 3 days in a row my 10 month old daughter has decided out of the blue that she will now be waking up at 4am instead of 6.30am - so, my day starts at 4, have brekkie and go to work at 7, back home at 6pm, feed and play with daughter, put her to bed at 8, put myself to bed at 8.30, repeat.
Tonight is our end of financial year dinner and I am going to get pissed, yes I am.
I'm at work. Not a bad place to be on such a crappy day. Pissing down rain, cold and windy. A max temp today of 7 degrees c. There's snow in the nearby mountains. With a bit of luck or is that bad luck it might even snow here soon.
spent the day doped up on medicine, as I've come down with the flu. however, that didn't stop me from revising several film essays and sending them out for publication. also got word that the tiny local newspaper is offering me a weekly film column after i bitched them out over how many fucking ads they waste their space on. also looking for peter greenaway flicks to order.
