Favorite Woody Allen movies?

I think his funniest is LOVE & DEATH, but his best three are CRIMES & MISDEMEANORS, MANHATTAN and HUSBANDS & WIVES. ANNIE HALL is great, but doesn't quite touch those aforementioned three for me. What do you think?

Actually, strike that "avoid the dramas", I did like "Purple Rose of Cairo" when I saw it

Woody Allen. There's a name that draws two very different reactions.

Anyway for me it would be Love & Death, Crimes & Misdomeaners, Sleeper, and Bullets Over Broadway.

My parents recently moved to a house about a mile away from the Sleeper house! It's really cool.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever seen a Woody Allen movie. Can't really think of a reason why not, just never been high on my "must-see" list.

Haven't seen em all, but Annie Hall was good.

I don't remember which movie it was (maybe Annie Hall?), but there was one where he got beat up by some bikers. His description: "Well, first I hit him in the fist with my stomach; then I smashed his knee with my nose."

I love all of his films, but this --> Hannah and Her Sisters

While I enjoy the old classics like "Annie Hall," "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex...," "Love and Death," I actually prefer his more mean-spirited ones like "Stardust Memories" and "Deconstructing Harry." Plus, "Interiors" is a fantastic film.

Oh it's too hard, it's like asking me favoruite New order songs. Better to ask which I didn't like...but I couldn't answer that either. Oh, Bullets Over Broadway was a bit no good. I really tried to like it because I love john Cusack and, as usual the castw as amazing but it was boring and I only liked teh guy who kept getting fatter and fatter. What's funny about "Don't Speak Don't Speak"?!
