Ah that's interesting. There's a time a while ago when I had an urge longing for a pure European pop music, not blended with the Negro feel and rhythm as Anglo-Saxon pop music has been since the 1910s (even the whitiest singers like Frank Sinatra were backed up by great jazz orchestras). Only Engelbert Humperdinck managed to perform as almost there's never been black music. So I turned my ear up to the North - to Germany and Sweden where I found those birds. Pretty satisfied with what I heard. It's not rock, but it's not pop variete a la Tom Jones, Tony Bennett. It's just different, interesting. It's an experiment :)

Cool. They were both very big over here many years ago. As a matter of fact, they were also big in Germany.
Si Senor... Siw Malmquist big star here back then... (60s?) Mrs. Hansson doesn't tell me anything spontaneously...
