Well, however that would be spelled, if it's even a frigging word...

Stopped off at the liquor store on the way to mom's house, and the mad bastards are FINALLY selling Stella here in Texas...

unfortunately, they only had 24....so that was all I could load up with...

Equally good news here in the northwest as well Jeff, a local corner store, run by some Brits, has been selling Stella, amongst a number of others such as Boddington's, Carlsberg, etc., for the last month. Only bad news was that after I bought the first six pack, I brought it home to discover that I didn't have any bottle openers in my household   Used something from around the house to get the bottles open, nothing was gonna stop me in my quest for another taste of Stella. In fact, think I'll go have another one now.

PS. I don't think my e-mail service likes Yahoo addresses too much.

When I was in London, I met some Led Zeppelin fans down by the river and they offered me Stella and olives too. Nice guys them! YUM! :p

Some people I know refer to Stella as 'wife beater'.

Any truth in this? Does it make you aggressive? :banghead:

Yeah, I drank 6 Stella's last night/this morning, and I had an immediate urge to kick the shit out of my mom's dog...

What a silly question...

Alcohol makes some people complete idiots, and just makes some of us INTERESTING!!!

Personally I like Stella too. I think it's a fine Belgian import beer and was a bit surprised to hear such a negative association when visiting London and was curious to know if that was a wider belief. Obviously it was complete bollocks.

Cheers!

Rian, for you:
