Anyone remember the early 90s Manc band, Northside? Sounded kinda Stone Roses-esque.
My fave from them was Shall We Take a Trip (on LSD) or maybe even My Rising Star. I like both of them equally! So I refuse to choose either and instead plan to go with a tie. ;) I can't remember their other tracks too well though. Were they as good? And what happened to them?!

The album Chicken Rythms is hard to get hold of, unless you wanna pay 16 quid for the fucker on E-Bay! As much as I love the album I aint paying that kinda money, so I only have this on Cassette and vinyl album. More accessible is the copy of their live gig at the PSV in 1990 you can pick this video up from several retailers for 9 quid if you do a search on Google
Aye I remember em well..Shall we take a trip,take 5 and rising star..all class,I have their album on CDR someplace...very rosesish they were, as shug says... but not as good..But then again there is only one Stone Roses,so its not fair to compare..Northside were a good band tho.Not sure what became of them.
