I'll have you know, young lady, that my fear of making phone calls is a diagnosed condition as certified by the Lancet in their December 1989 issue with Morrissey on the cover. I just tense up whenever anyone asks me to give them a call or "ring me up sometime for some hot lovin'". I try and fight it, but it's an ongoing struggle. This recent bout of homophobia has me rethinking what i thought of people on digital republic. Its sad, and also sad that people have free time to worry about other people's lives. Just worry about yerself!

What I'm wondering about are some of the larger issues-- like the justification for legalized discrimination against Gays-- you know, not allowed to marry, along with all of the legal protections for couples that come with marriage. I'm not quite sure how somebody who does want a cock up his arse has thereby forfeited his right to hospital visits with the person he loves. Especially when sex with the nurse is a straight fantasy.
The other thing I worry about is the relationship between straight parents and their gay children. I would hope that if your son ever came out as gay, that you would find it in your heart to love him anyway, just as he is. Just like you'd love him if he was as straight as the day is long.
Me, I prefer hetero sex in all its varieties; none of that limiting it to procreative sex for me, thanks. I've even been known to use contraceptives on occasion. And I hope that my preference doesn't provide a basis for bigotry and legal discrimination against ME.
