Ok...figured it would be good to stir things up a bit...

Who would have thought 5 or 10 years ago that America would be rated ahead of England, France and Spain by FIFA?

Perhaps after next summer...the American's will tour Europe on an exhibition of our obvious talents :)

Who else is shocked that France might be in danger of not qualifying for Germany '06!

OK...here come the flames

Erm... not me. Considering France have lost most of there best players are in a 'transistional' phase.

The rankings are, and always have been, a joke.

France are going downhill I hope they don't qualify :evil4:

Now it takes revenge on those countries who imported lots of players from other countries. Look at Spain, France, Germany, Italy, England how many non citizens play in their leagues? Don't get me wrong as xenophobic. I just want to point out that they don't do enough for younger players and rather buy stars for millions from foreign countries. How can a national team be good then?

you can say all you want about importing players into different countrys but take the all mighty England for instance how many of there team doesn't ply there trade in England...........2 the Real madrid all stars Becks and Owen...possibly 3 if woodgate gets his arse in gear and starts playing again

Canada still hang in there at 84th place

How lame is this... for a G8 country!

At least we're #1 in ice hockey...

Hooray for Canada!

On a sidenote, i love the way the Scottish FA is opposing a UK football team for the 2012 olympics. Its not as if any of there players would get in the sqaud anyway!

Don't push your luck there... it's STILL too boring for US TV... unless you want to see it on channel 900+ on the TV..

Too true Nic...I had to watch all of the gold cup games on the spanish language channel as none of them were carried in english!

Also...just want to say that Dwane De Rosario is one of my favorite players for the Earthquakes (my local club) and he plays for the Canadian Nat team as well.

What rank does Sweden have?

The USA should do fine as long as Hugh Douglas (that jagoff) is nowhere to be seen in the next World Cup

Just check it for yourself.

Oh well. We can't be good in both hockey and football.

Also, ESPN2 will show a lot of Champions League games, though mostly the ones with the English teams until the championship game itself.

Well, hockey: not so good for the last 3 years. But we have some Worldcup medals from the 90's.

Football: 3:th place in Worldcup in USA a couple of years ago.
