Are there any albums you like with really appalling album covers?
Well, here are two examples from my collection:

Can I answer "Waiting for the sirens' call"? [orange]No[/orange] (ah, lousy pun intended!)?
OK, I'll settle with Springsteen's "Darkness in the Edge of town" then..
PIL's Greatest Hits So Far (o.k. o.k. it's a compilation) but the cartoon of the alien unloading the boxes is juts hideous, I hesitate to play it sometimes.
Honestly, Republic's cover never seemed all that great to me either, but I admire that Saville used all commonly available stock photos to make it, so it's exempt.
I think it may have been changed from the original vinyl, but here's what the CD looks like for the pivotal 1976 release of the Modern Lover's album:

Also of note, the "Help" album by the Beatles is not a 'great' album per se, but it's decent enough for what it is. Kinda loses something in the translation from vinyl to CD...

Happy Mondays - Squirrel and G-Man 24 Hour Party People Plastic Face Carnt Smile (White Out)

Regarded as a classic. Don't know why.

Horrible cover, horrible album.

Best Sabbath album since Born Again. Deserves a better cover.
Special mention must go to:
