"This-is-something-that-only-happens-in-the-NIiIIiiighhht!" - Simon Topping, ACR, Forced Laugh(go figure)

"Guess who? You know who!" - DoJo, ACR, Guess Who

"Everyone grows so cold! Everyone just grows so old!" - Tony France, Stockholm Monsters, All At Once

and finally my personal favorite:

"UNNNNGGGGH!" Larry Cassidy, Section 25, Dirty Disco II

Well, i'm not exactly saying that Factory was totally bereft of decent vocalists, DoJo was certainly one the best(still don't know why ACR decided to use the absolute worst version of Knife Slits Water with Martha Tilson on vocals on Sextet), though the vocals of the Cassidy trio at times make Barney seem like Martin Fry in comparison. Besides the obvious choices for answers on a New Order website, which Factory outfits do you think had the most serviceable vocalist(s)?

Sorry, but I have to say it's Bernard Sumner, unless you count Neil Tennant in the two songs he sung with Electronic. Quite frankly, Tony Wilson must've been tone-deaf, or close to it, because most - if not all - of the Factory artists I've heard are really off-key.

Barney, Ian and Shaun Ryder. All have their own totally unique presence that places them amongst the greatest front men of all-time, IMHO. But Barney is my favorite.
