Slipknot v Burger King

IMHO the fake metal band Coq Roq sounds infinitely better than Slipnot.

I never understood the appeal of Slipknot. It's not that I don't like metal - I do like Metallica's work before the '90s - but Slipknot is just noise and cacophony, with an image as fabricated as Vanilla Ice's was. A friend of mine used to like them back in high school, although we both liked the Smashing Pumpkins. I bought her a few Cure and New Order albums and eventually weened her off that garbage.

I'd rather listen to shitty 80's metal than the new shit. Shitknot is from my city and I never saw them. You are right, Metallica dropped into the toilet after Justice.

It's not so much the lyrics as the guitar solos. Kirk Hammet seems to be on a 15-year vacation.

i think it has more to do with being controlled by the egomaniac that is lars than him being on holiday. i don't mind S&M i thought thats was a pretty cool idea and came off well
