. I could live without Shake Appeal and Death Trip. The only crap number on FunHouse IMO is L.A Blues.

Saw Iggy and the Stooges last night. Mudhoney opened for 'em.
Great show. Iggy was in top form. Comparing him to the New York Dolls, the Dolls are a bunch of shitty (pre-)butt-rocking dinosaurs. Iggy stopped in the middle of one song (forget which one) and called the bouncers motherfuckers when they wouldn't let up onstage some people to dance along. Eventually Iggy got the crowd surging over the barricade and it was chaos as at least a hundred people got onstage as Iggy launched into "No Fun." We thought the stage was going to break. It was madness. Great stuff.
Am I the only one who voted for the first album? It's not only the best Stooges album, it's one of the greatest albums ever made.
I can't see why people think "Raw Power" is The Stooges' best one. I mean, it's good but not THAT good. I know there's a new version, remixed by Iggy Pop himself, but I have the old one, with the bad production (too loud Williamson guitar solos, Iggy's thick voice, lack of a rhythm section, etc).
Don't worry. I was the only one who voted for FunHouse.
Although the first album has some undoubted classics, it also has We Will Fall...
That's all I'm saying.

And yet, despite the worst production of any album ever, it's also the favorite. Says something about how good that album is.
Imagine if it had been recorded/produced properly.

i voted funhouse too, raw power had slightly better songs but the production was terrible.
