Okay, I'm already sick of the Charlie Brown avatar I chose for myself, so I thought I'd use something nice like the following:

That's an avatar...only problem is, I can only save it as a "Bitmap image". Which is a problem, because in order to get the image up I have to have it as a jpeg or gif file.

As my current avatar might say, "auugh!" :banghead:

I tried cutting and pasting it, but the image wouldn't load. Please please please, tell me how I can use the Shat-Man as my avatar for my own pop-culture amusement. I await any help you all might have to throw my way...

well, it saves as jpeg here Trevor...

One thing you can do is to drag the picture into a folder, that will work...

It's the best way to fight the annoying websites that block right clicks.. :evil4:

I did that, but it still says "bitmap" in the description...

Trev, photoshop it and save as jpeg.

If worse comes to worse do medieval style:
Alt + Print Screen (screen shot of your monitor MS Paint cut out what you need save as jpeg (I think it will automatically save as bitmap)

Okay, I saved a similar image as a JPEG, put it in the "upload" box (as blah-blah-blah.jpg, not .jpeg), and pulled up this helpful message:

This filename already exists on the server, check the overwrite box if you want to overwrite it. Parameter name: FileName

Now then, what the hell does that mean? Where is this "overwrite" box that I'm supposed to check? I don't see it!

Anyway, let me know what's up asap
