Has Anyone bought a Playstation PSP???

i was wondering if anyone has bought the Playstation PSP yet,i'm just wanting to get any info to see what they are like,i'e gameplay,graphics,is it worth the cash???

Too rich for my blood. I'm a fiend for videogames but i'd rather a lug a book around for portable entertainment instead of a PSP that's as big as a french bread pizza or one of those Nintendo double-deckers.

My Mate is nuts for all this stuff, and bought one off a Japaneese website about April. I have to say - as someone who gave up on video games aged 12 - that it is an impressive machine. Ridge Racer and Wipeout are really good. Fantastic resolution and gameplay. I shant be getting one though. My interest is passive, and they are pretty expensive.
