I have a virus. Lots of pops ups, slowed my computer right down and generally a pain in the arse. Bloody anti virus software.

Anyone know a good place to sort this out. One Brain had a good site when i have had a similar problem in the past...

You are more likely to have your system screwed up because of spyware than a virus. It would help if you could be more specific about the pop-ups, like the websites they're trying to access.

There is no perfect anti-spyware, the same way there is no perfect antivirus software, but you can try these for starters: Adware Away, Microsoft AntiSpyware and CounterSpy. If you're lucky one of them will remove your problem.

Last, but not least: stop surfing porn. :D

I was going to suggest lots and lots of alchohol. Scotch whisky should do the trick. That should kill most viruses.

All those mentioned are good. So is SpywareBlaster. This weekend I had Microsoft AntiSpyware detect two adwares and it automatically deleted them.
