Could you decide which are your fave 70's, 80's, 90's and now tunes (2000- present), the ones that make your heart pound and you wanna shout it out cos you know all the words and the moves?! It goes without saying that NO and JD aect are there... but for a change...

My choice

70's - ABBA - Dancing Queen (dont laugh) 80's - The (mighty)Wah! - Story OF The Blues 90's - Livin' Joy - Dreamer now - The Doves - Pounding

My head is like a box of frogs now cos its so hard to decide

Hmmm... I didn't really realize music in the 70s... Genesis "Firth of Fifth", perhaps (or something by Black Sabbath)...

80s Simple Minds "Don't you forget about me" (what a surprise  )

90s (very lame time period musically speaking) 3 Doors Down "Duck and Run"

now The Killers "Somebody told me"

Great idea!

70's: David Bowie- "Heroes" (you can't argue with perfection itself)

80's: New Order- Blue Monday (yes, we're all sick of it, but it was groundbreaking, admit it...)

90's: Radiohead- Creep (miserabilism in the charts!)

As for the current decade, I really don't know. Ask me again in 2011!

Yeah, Bere, you spot on about the 90's it was just too dull for my liking, music just could not seem to find its way if you know what I mean! I suppose after the 80's period it was just not good enough..No wonder it was a big time for pills and thrills!

The 80's was amazing but I am enjoying "Now" and each week brings a fresh buzz to my ears! And NO just ride it all the way through the decads :thumb:

Hmmm, never got the big deal about it. Good song, don't get me wrong, but why did it go top 20?

think Wardance (requiem, empire song, frenzy etc) are all better songs, but Love Like is an overall definitive 80's song. We've got Love Like Blood on our Jukey in my local Pub, but if it got swapped for Wardance, the regulars would go nuts. It's like swappin this Corrosion for Temple of Love.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Smashing Pumpkins for the '90s? Their songs "I am One," "Mayonaise", and "Zero" are definitely some of my favorite songs of the decade. Electronic's "Gangster," Depeche Mode's "Halo," and PSB's "Closer to Heaven" are also on my list.
