Uhh, Kenny Loggins vs. Michael Sembello? You forgot at least one category in the choices...

Maybe-- just maybe-- Flashdance could win because it's got Giorgio Moroder. But I'd have to listen to it first to determine that, and I can't be arsed to torment myself like that.

Any soundtrack from the 80s needed to have either Kenny Loggins or Irene Cara. This one had them both!

footloose. they're both classics, but footloose has two kenny loggins classics (footloose and i'm free) as well as deneice williams' let's hear it for the boy. plus, the song played while ren is doing his gymnastics scene is classic.
