Alan Rickman never fails to satisfy as a bad bastard, very watchable..How come all the sinister, nasty parts always get played by Englishmen in hollywood?
Which actors do you think make great Baddies?

they're all englishmen because we're evil sadistic bastards at heart!
its probably the 'proper' english accent that they all seem to have, only one i can't stand is Sean 'bloody' Bean, how the fuck has that sheffield chump managed to carve out a career in Hollywood, hes been dodgy in everything i've ever seen him in.
I'd like to see George Clooney in a very very bad role... As killer or as mercyless godfather...
i think Sir Ian Mckellen as Magneto in X-men is very good at what he does.
this is a tough one really, because you could have say your favourite actor who prodominetly plays good guys, play a bad guy and it doesn't work out and he isn't the right man for the job.
benicio del toro would be good as any baddie though i think
Having just seen the Business and Green Street both within a week of each other, Geoff Bell's played the resident psycho in both, and is easily the most passable thing in two middling movies. He's a quality English villain. 24-carat nutter. Alpha Male with a tint of the unhinged about him, a real air of menance. One bloke you'd definitely want to avoid down the boozer but would be fcuking happy to have as your mate.

Jeffrey Combs (Re-Animator, Frighteners) is a great mad baddie every time... My favourite horror actor...

Star Trek had a lot to answer for, thanks to their continued perpetuation of the old "goatee as a sign of evil" stereotype. Many men throughout history have been fine upstanding citizens in spite of their goatee afflictions ![]()
Anthony Hopkins James Woods Kevin Spacey Vincent Price
And, going back to the whole "englishmen/badmen" question, I love the fact that all the bad guys in "Star Wars" are Brits. ![]()
