murray was great!!! but, i thought he was better in lost in translation.
new order twist...'age of consent' was played in the trailer, but not in the movie, nor credited on the soundtrack!
i was disappointed with the life aquatic, although i did love the portuguese bowie renditions. i found myself losing interest after a while, which surprised me considering that i love wes anderson films and the life aquatic had an impressive ensemble cast.
i think lost in translation is bill murray's best, as well.

I HATED The Life Aquatic. Loved all the other Wes Anderson movies, but this newest one just was not funny at all, even with that great cast. Once he brings back Owen Wilson as co-writer, he'll be back on the right track. Murray's best was Rushmore, IMHO.
The best part was defo the David Bowie songs interwoven throughout. I had to explain it to my friends, 'cause they didn't pick up on it.
I think it was very bittersweet, a bit more than the previous films. Murray definitely is the best thing about it, but there's some great secondary characters as well (Willem Dafoe is hysterical).
I love how the very end didn't turn into some "action movie" cliche (I mean the very end, which if you still haven't seen it, I won't tell you). I also loved the sequence set to "Search and Destroy" 
Oh, and the NO song in the preview was "Ceremony"

It was Ceremony that was used in the trailer, not Age of Consent.
Absolutely loved this film. So much so that I watched it twice in a row on a plane back from the US. The story's not much and the expectation of the encounter with the shark heavily outweighs the experience itself, but the dialogue was a absolute joy from start to finish, very refreshing.

seen it. seen all of his films, i think. bottle rocket is his best.
