Hey Jude, Don't make it bad [incomphrensible] Mumble, mumble, feces!
Hey Jude, [incomphrensible] Shit, Sharon, can't you see I'm fucking recording in here! [bites head off dove]
Imagine there's no [cough] It's easy if you [violent cough] Fuckin' hell, where's me meds?
Lucy in the Sky, with diamonds Lucy in the sky, with diamonds Lucy in the [falls asleep snoring]

Can you imagine CNN mentioning NO? Or quoting Bernard Sumner? But Bono is mentioned from time to time, and Ozzy too, and Paul McCartney etc.... why's that?
I can already see the commercial for it (warning: blatent posting by Trev of something he wrote in the hopes of selling it to the Lampoon):
OZZY SINGS THE BEATLES Trevor Seigler
You've loved him as the frontman for Black Sabbath! You rocked with him on that Crazy Train and you watched with glee every episode of "The Osbournes"! You got to see the inside of a San Antonio jail cell because you defecated on the Alamo just like Ozzy did! Now help him keep his drug addiction up and running by buying...OZZY SINGS THE BEATLES!
Twenty-three tracks of coked-up Fab-tastic covers, all just a mouseclick away at OzzyOsbourne.com! What are you waiting for? You know Ozzy will totally rock!
Thrill to the transcripts of his edgy takes on such classics as "Yellow Submarine":
"In the town where I was born, Lived a man, who saild to sea, And he [incomprhensible] In the land of...fuckin' hell, who let you in? Get out of my house, you fucker...hey, where are my fucking clothes?"
Where are your clothes indeed, Ozzy! If you thought "Revolution" kicked ass when the Beatles recorded it in 1968, you ain't heard nothing yet! See the sample:
"You say you want a revolution Mumble mumble mumble If you got some drugs then come to my address, 132 Ocean Avenue, Malibu... Count me out!...no, seriously"
Ha-ha, Ozzy is still the man! (when it comes to copious drug use!)
But what about the ballads? Here is a side of Ozzy we've never seen, on George Harrison's beautiful "Something":
"Something in the way she moves, Something something something, Something in the way she blows me...oh, what! I can't say 'blow'! Fuck off" [takes a swig of whiskey]
Brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it! But hey, Ozzy likes the solo stuff too, as he shows with the fantastic and moving version of "Imagine":
"Imagine there's no [cough], It's easy if you [violent cough], No hell [coughing fit] Fuckin' hell, where are me meds?"
A fitting tribute to the spirit of John Lennon's genius. But why stop there? Look what fun Ozzy has with "Band on the Run"
"[incomprhensible throughout]"
Go, Ozzy, go! You wouldn't be 'paranoid' if you decided to shell out your hard-earned cash for this instant classic! As Ozzy sings on "I Want To Hold Your Hand":
"I wanna hold your hand! I wanna hold your hand! I wanna..oh, hold on, Kelly's outisde the studio...no, don't let her in. Fuckin' mistake, I told Sharon the condom had a hole in it. She's a bit chunky, eh?"
Um, yeah, Ozzy. And so is his brand new album, "Ozzy Sings The Beatles!"
(Grab your drug-addled copy today and recieve a free bonus CD of Ozzy's many profanity-laden takes on "Yesterday"!)
By the way, I'm one of the few who may know why Ozzy sat to record the Beatles.
I remember back in 2003 there was a Howard Stern show with Ozzy Osbourne and the most touching moment was when Ozzy found out that there was Paul McCartney in the next studio and expressed his desire to meet McCarntey in person (for the first time). And he did. Sir Paul was obviously surprised and in his turn, embarrassed, he said something, flaterring about Ozzy Osbourne/BS's music, how he also liked them... ![]()
He did the covers for the Prince of Darkness boxset
21st Century Schizoid Man (King Crimson) Mississippi Queen (Mountain) All the Young Dudes (Mott the Hoople) In My Life (The Beatles) Fire (The Crazy World of Arthur Brown) For What It's Worth (Buffalo Springfield) Sympathy for the Devil (Rolling Stones) Working Class Hero (John Lennon) Good Times (Eric Burdon) Changes w/Kelly Osbourne (Black Sabbath)
For the single disc:
Then there was a disc of collaborations on the boxset:
Iron Man (Ozzy with Therapy?) N.I.B. (Ozzy with Primus) Purple Haze (Ozzy with Zakk, Randy Castillo, & Geezer Butler) Pictures of Matchstick Men (Ozzy with Type O Negative) Shake Your Head (Let's Go to Bed) (Ozzy with Was not Was) Born to be Wild (Ozzy with Miss Piggy) Nowhere to Run (Vapor Trail) (Ozzy with Crystal Method, DMX, Ol' Dirty Bastard, & Fuzzbubble) Psycho Man (Black Sabbath) For Heaven's Sake 2000 (Ozzy with Tony Iommi & Wu-Tang Clan) I Ain't No Nice Guy (Ozzy with Motorhead) Therapy (Ozzy with Infectious Grooves) Stayin' Alive (with Dweezil Zappa) Dog, The Bounty Hunter (A&E Series Theme Song)
'Led Clones', with him and Gary Moore was taken off.
Depends.
If you go into it, there's a little playlist.
Listen to Stayin' Alive.

For the love of God, why?
And where does Ozzy get off takin' my Prince of Darkness moniker without even askin'?

Nope!
And why not...?
Cos Ozzy and his gremlin-like family are a joke
I feel well sorry for the Mogwai that spawned that lot after being fed in the twilight hours.
I mean seriously, who gives a fuck that he's covering a few Beatles songs? Seriously, seriously!!??! The guy was a joke in the 80s, joke for most of the 90s, and the only real reason he's popular at the moment is because he plays a partially aware vegetable so well in a reality show (it's not hard as he is one). I can't remember the last time somebody raved about an Ozzy-related track in terms of "that's good music", more his buffoonish antics on his crass telly show. He tried to strangle his wife in a booze fuelled rage didn't he? That's his greatest 'hit' in my book ![]()
Oh, was I the only one who felt like kicking in the television set when that heinous duet he did with his rotund daughter came on a couple of years ago? ![]()

I couldn't have answered it better.

Fair enough. But what about Blizzard of Ozz, No More Tears? Two classic albums.
Then what about the Sabbath stuff? Unbeatable.
