Nice to see the Observer last sunday reduce itself to Tabloid standards in the main section too (is it just me, or is the review getting worse each year? ) with the Andrew Rawnsley "why I asked David about his drug past". Bullshit story - the man took drugs.
Nice to see Ken Clarke fucked out. Hopefully the Tatcherite will win it and Britain will hit another slump in the next 2 years. Should make things interesting for prudence Brown and the Milliband Kids.

Seriously though, I don't think anyone (even Tory supporters) really gives a fuck who leads that crusty old mob these days, they're a joke especially up here in Scotland. Although it does look like this floppy haired toff who probably did a load of "recreational drugs" will win, they haven't got a chance in hell of running the country for another few general elections. Even if they do, it'll probably be with a minimal majority.
On the drugs front with Cameron, he should've just come clean rather than skirting around it like an atypical politician/bullshitter. He should count his lucky stars Paxman wasn't grilling him (would've been worth taping otherwise!). I'm not a fan of the Tories but if he'd come out and said "Yeah I did a bit of weed when I was at uni" I would've thought fair enough, at least he's being honest about it. Though admitting to something slightly more illegal like incessant nose candy abuse would've finished his campaign off 
is that why he kept quiet I wonder? Hmmmm.
The Tory party must be loving this contest though: headline news, front page stories, interviews, analysis etc. They're getting more coverage and airtime now than they got during the last general election! Once their new leader's elected the country will go back to not giving a fuck about them!

I quite like Liam Fox. He was an excellent shadow health secretary, an extremely competent party chairman, and is a very able Commons performer. After Clarke, was the best man to be the leader of the Conservative Party.
And, as a matter of fact, i quite like his views on the war on terror and nuclear family. I dont particularly like the idea of rewarding/ignoring terrorist activities, or having teenage mums getting loads of money just for having a kid. Presumably, this makes me a dickhead as well?
