My poor old 15 year old moggy has disappeared. He has been missing for 24 hours which is unheard of. He has been ill and I feel like shit. I've printed off flyers and stuck notices to telegraph poles; walked the streets with my daughter posting flyers, knocking doors; no-one has seen him since yesterday morning. Who says animals don't 'get to you'?

We had a cat that got stuck trying to get out of a partially opened window and got squeezed to death.Everyone was out at the time.A particularly nasty end.A terrible day it was.
My evil neighbour poisoned my cat 4 years ago. BITCH!!Maybe it's time for me to put those pink pills in her fookin drink!!
Don't worry...
Saturday evening, we have found a dog by the road. Everyone was driving very fast and it was extremely dangerous for the dog to stay there. We took it home and found a phone number on the collar. But the phone number was no more reachable !!! I phoned to most of the people having the name written on the collar on a 10km area. Two hours later, we had a call and we finally drove back Toby at home !!! Toby lives by an old lonely grandma.
That was a great relief for all of us.
We lost three cats this year. One of 18 years, another of 13 long fucking years. Then a kitten that either ate something poisenous or was killed by my 3 year old. Currently we have a new young cat that looks exactly like the 18 year old one. My youngest, now 4, named her Princess Hossy of the Castle. The bastard does not know its name but it caught a mouse that snuck in.
My dog got so old that she was finally put to sleep about 3 years ago. I still think about her every day.
Thanks to everyone who replied; I found my poor old Tom just yards behind the garden. He had died - purely from old age apparently. There have been tears.....many. Hope you like the pic.
Thank you. Think as you will, but I am having him cremated (for those cynics at this point - don't); and I will bury his ashes in the garden under 'his' tree.
aw, I'm so sorry...that's so sad :( I miss my kitty now..she lives with my mom and dad about 4 hours away from here (since I'm at school and my roommates are allergic)
something new will come out of it though, I'm sure!
we had to put our dog Pepper to sleep when I was in grade 10..she was about 14, black and white springer spaniel with little black dots on her white nose, hence Pepper. Since I cried for hours that night my dad felt so sorry for me that he offered to get a kitten! (and he's allergic, so that's some kind of miracle!!) Anyway, we got the completely white Salty, the last kitten that no one wanted, from a country home that same night. :)
she's been my spoiled rotten baby every since, and knows it! quite the attitude, that cat.
I hope u feel better soon

Our cat, Stella, a lovely Holy Birma 2 years old, was missing for 4 days in June. I was out looking for her every night, but no sign or sound from her.
She usually only be out for a couple of hours, so we were sure she had been kidnapped, killed or locked in some house.
I gave up my hope to see her again after 2 days, but after 4 days she came home, acting like nothing had happend.
Cats are strange sometimes.
