during peel tribute i saw the siouxsie and the banshees doing love in a void.
it all started to come back to me.i was only young, late 70's early 80's.she had me spellbound.it was that dark hair you see.i've even kept the christmas card i got from her, sniff sniff. i must NOT get it out and stare at it.i must not go backwards.i'll end up drinking to much again ![]()

I sat next to her in a chippy in Marylebone earlier this year. Bit of a posh chippy, mind.
Even Goths eat chips! ![]()

She don't look too bad nowadays. Must be moving to the south of France. Not very punk rock that though. Anyway, I'm amazed you got a Christmas card from her. She's all heart that woman.

Amusingly enough, she was sat with Budgie and all the lads I was with thought he must be cheating with a younger Siouxsie lookalike. Still glams up the same, but you can see she's aged close-up.
I then saw her and Budgie as I was sat outside the All Bar One on Regents Street about a week later. Glanced up and thought it was a couple of stow-dents coming towards me (they're both fcuking tiny!) but then did a double-take and realised it was instead two punk icons!
You know, we all deny it. But close up, we all look like shit. Especially the morning after the night before. I just say now that I'm 50 and then people think I look OK for my age - fair? I think so. Mind you, you can't really wear make up can you - well not unless you say you were Duranies or Adamanties can you?
