What's the worst you've ever seen?

Driving through Austin Sunday, we found a couple of real doozies...

The first one, at a tire store said, "If it's in stock, we've got it!"...

Really, no shit, if you have it, you have it...I never would have figured that out...INSANE...isn't it???

The second one, at a place that repaired Volkswagens....

METAPHYSICAL CAR REPAIR...what the fuck does that mean??? Are they going to conjure up a spirit to do the work on a car...I'd pay to see THAT...

next???

I always hated the pepsi ads from the 80s, completely fucking fascist. Basically they involved Michael J. Fox and some scheme to use a time machine to eliminate Coca-Cola. Then they would pop back to the present and proclaim Pepsi Numero Uno.

One auto repair shop had the sign "The World's Biggest Transmission Specialists", leading me to speculate that their workers must be over 400-500 pounds :p

Whoever invented the concept of "buy one, get one free" should be taken out back and shot. If only for the countless times I've had to clarify for customers that no, that does not mean you can just buy one for the regular price (strangely, no one ever asked if they could pay one-third of the regular price when something is "buy one, get two free" )

Oh, and those "lost another loan to Ditech!" commercials...the poor guy who keeps losing to the online loaning company is the financial version of the Trix Rabbit (and you really start to feel sorry for the guy. Why can't he keep a loan from going to Ditech? Why? )

There is a cell phone commercial on radio that has a woman with that annoying pissed off woman voice going "HELLO? HELLO? I CAN'T HEAR YOU," in effort to explain that you should switch cell phone service. This is the most annoying and stupid ad of all time. Everytime it is on I shut the radio off.

Quizno's a few years ago had those disturbing hamster things singing. It kinda scares you aways from quiznos.

I was just thinking that the current anti smoking campaign, with its slogan 'a blood clot kills a smoker every 45 minutes' (or 35 minutes, or whatever it was) is pretty damn stupid. I mean, of what use is that information unless you know how frequently a blood clot kills a non-smoker? You could just as well declare 'a car crash kills a smoker every 50 minutes' or 'a landmine kills or maims a smoker every hour', 'a nut allergy kills a smoker every 90 minutes' etc.
