Do you get this concerned when I'm not around for a while, P?

I haven't seen any evidence of it.

You know, DC, you're right.

Perhaps it's a subconscious feeling that, in light of your longer history here, with periods when you're less active and periods when you're more active, occasional temporary lulls in your posting activity are an expected phenomenon.

In contrast, during his briefer period with us, Jonathan has seemed somehow more constant in his presence.

Does any of that make sense?

I really don't want to say anything that might offend either one of you, or anyone else either.

well im here. Ive been traveling a bit on my holiday to secret locations and tried my hand at scuba diving. Im honored that their would be a thread devoted to my deadbeatness. I wont desert you.

I probably wont be posting that much in the near future as my schedule has change, i will be very busy, and work will require travel. As some of you know, i dont owe a computer and most of my postings will be done at the internet cafe down the city block from me. Dont worry i will keep my eye on future proceedings.

Sorry to disappoint Johnny, but unfortunely i havent spent anytime with The AGENT.

Patrick, i miss you too.

No problem Pats, I understand what you're getting at.

No offence taken whatsoever.

Let us speak no more of it.

So why the heck do you like him more than me anyhow?

Is it his haircut?

His proximity?

My aggravating ripostes?

His greater likelihood to riot against the system?

You are arriving at unsupported conclusions, DC.

I don't think you have any basis for contending that I like him more than you.

What exactly is the source of Jonathan's appeal?

That mixture of youthful devil-may-care insouciance with a certain unspecified underlying vulnerability?

Or perhaps it is the hair.

Well, Jonathan, I'm very relieved to know you're well, but sorry to hear we may be seeing less of you for a while.

Other than your dedicating entire threads to his whereabouts and the state of his coiffure, I suppose not.

You do realise, of course, that I was being facetious with my remarks, P?

Are you telling me, DC, that you sometimes post in jest?

Well, you can be sure that is something I would never do.

Jonathan does have a certain "unspecified vulnerability" that i'm never too sure is genuine or if he is having a joke. And that in itself is a great talent. He does come in to thread's and ,say, for example "who is George Best?".I find that quite endearing. And he does come across as a guy whos is just gonna do his thing! and to hell with the rest of ya's!.

Cool surname as well.Szwajkos.How do you pronounce that ,Jonathan?. "Swadge -Koss" ? ."Schwartz -Koss"?.Swy-Koss"?. Or is the Kos pronounced "Kose"?.What is it? Polish?
