In your posts, I've noticed that you give Belfast a kicking every chance you get. While I do agree with you, I want to know what inspires such hatred of the place?
The unemployment? The violence? The weather? The people?
Anything else?

forget THE TROUBLES, I love Belfast. one of the nicest friendliest city's in the uk. been a few times. great ale / good people.
never been to Dublin though - so can't compare the two.
Belfast isn't a bad city, was in La Lea Night Club on Saturday night which was quite good. I prefer the city of Krakow though.
Having spent 3 years of my life at university there, i found the vast majority of people there stupid, ignorant and shallow. The violence wasnt so much as issue, although my maybe my judgement is clouded by the fact i had my windows bricked while having the term "black scum" shouted at me and my housemate. I also noticed that the city has about two decent bars, the rest of which were overpriced shitholes.
Need I go on?

Hits the nail on the head perfectly.

Where are these bars? Let's see if you spent time in my locals.

Please do. Let's see how many we agree with.
Never been there, so can't tell you much.
But I think I've heard lots of shit about that town. Dunno if the it's true though.
for some reason, although I've seen much of europe, i somehow avoided the british isles. i intend to correct this sometime. So I can not comment other that what we hear in the news.
