Last week highs in the 60s and 70s. Yesterday the temps dropped and the snow hit and ice formed. 16 F right now. Trees still have leaves! Been a wonderful November until yesterday. Now we are back into the ice age.

not here. it is slowly warming up. temp between 75 and 80. although a couple of nights ago it got down to about 40.
Getting crisp around here. Sunny, but crisp. Had to get out the comforter last night.

did ya notice i'm starting to use fahrenheit? the next challenge will be gallons. when are you guys going to use the same measurements as the rest of the world. we went metric here 1966.
Americans don't give a rat's ass about metrics. Well, when automobile manufacturers started listing engine size by liters we took a little notice. And 2 lt bottles of soda pop.
Funny thing is that when I play in online games I always use metrics.

didn't that cause some satellite to fail, becuse the american and engilsh engineers used different sets of measurments.
the strange thing is that they spell liter, litre here. when did that become an inperial measurement?
I had to de-ice my car this morning which is my least favourite job. It's bloody freezing. Only just thawed out.
Coldest winter ever here so they say. Great.
Fookin' furnace quits while I was at work. Damn dog decides she wants to come in and opens the door but fails to shut door. Wide goodamn open. House temps drops. Fortunately it was a reset button on the furnace most likely tripped by dirty filters 
. Easy fix but the gas burn to get house temp back to normal is gonna cost.
Update:
I'm now too bloody hot. All the other women in my office panicked at being cold so whacked the rads on full. Just walked back in the office after being on site in the cold and it's like getting off a plane in the Caribbean!!

it has always amazed me. same names, different results translated in metric system !!! same for US and UK gallons translated in litre.
It's snowing right now here.. damn it, it's time for me to get winter tires :(
As for metric... we are metric in Canada, but the percentage of population about to tell their height and weight in meter and kilograms is insignificant.
Plus, let's face it, 381 ML beer cans? 1.42L bottle? (curiously the last one is exactly 40 Oz)... so it's metric somewhere, but not totally.
We still have 8.5x11 paper.. and nobody knows how much this is in centimeters...
But overall, my parents are totally lost with metrics, so it will get better with time.

1 hour after my post, it did start to snow here. Samuel (aged 6) are out in the snow playing right now.
There's a bleeding indian summer going on up here, but i've still dug up my winter soundtrack, which consists of a crapload of dream pop.
