in Québec, Le Parti Québécois, currently the official opposition and the political party for the independance of Quebec, just elected at the head of the party a 39 year old gay man with past of cocaine abuse, and who is quite conservative (if that is possible for a gay man)
He's our former minister of environment, and just returned from a break to study at Harvard in a special "young leader" program there..
I have nothing against it, for the coke thing, Mr W Bush got elected despite of that, but what I find amazing is that this guy will probably be the first gay prime minister of Quebec.. and it would mean we would have elected a gay before a woman... ![]()
