I was gonna post this on the Bollocks thread, but it didn't seem fair to steal everyone's thunder. If you want a bottle of fizz or even pretend fizz, Tesco's the place to be. If you're a Glenfiddich drinker, Tesco's the one. However, the wine offers today lacked substance to be honest. I am thinking of looking elsewhere..... If it's not a decent red or a bottle of JD, frankly, I'm not interested. However, it is 2 for 1 on the Battenburg; so maybe I'll try tomorrow..(the kids love battenburg....) they might even be nice to me with that bribe....:o

Oooh, just thought of something. For work, we use a warehouse called Costco I think they're all over the country; now, day in and out, they have amazing prices but you need to buy by the case. Also they have amazing black xmas trees at the moment? No, I dont know either....

not banned, just stripped of any remaining Christianity. it's bad enough that we all worship an image created by the coca cola company, but now old JC's out of the show as well.

This political overcorrectness is absurdly racist (bear with me here folks).

Daft things like this, increase racial tension by making the majority feel unnecessarily threatenned by minorities. they make people say "bloody muslims", when it was a bunch of white cats who made the law (well ruling, I don;t think any of this BS has been enshrined yet) :) Such things as this are devicive as hell in their one sided. Whole towns change their Christmas celebrations to SUPPOSEDLY appease a small minority..... yet anything a minority does that may offend the general populace is accompanied by "it's their culture, and you're a very bad person if you don't respect it"....an example my GF mentioned is the Muslim Holy way of slaughtering and preparing animals, which is apparently not very pleasant to our western sensibilities (she loves her fluffy things does Leanne, so i take her at face value on such matters, I know nothing of the subject personally).

It's like people spend all this time and money coming up with these moronic things, which just make all parties concerned feel awkward and unwanted in their own land. When what they should be doing is spending time and money getting people to integrate and understand each other (not an easy thing, but at least a half asssed failure wont make things worse). Teams of ratfaced little muppets sho got the racism job, and haven;t the brains to actually do anything worthwhile come up with this BS instead to justify their paychecks....it reminds me of something I Heard Fred Dibnah say once (from memory so, you know it may be wonky) "you know what's wrong wit country today, for every man doing a job, there another half a dozen on 300 quid a week wit company car, standing round tellin 'im 'e can;t do it cos he hasn't got the right hat on"

Yup, it'll all just worsen that which it sets out to aleviate, you;d almost think, from the glee with which the media LEAPS on such stories, that someone wanted it that way hmmmmmmm? (that hmmmmm should be read in William Hartnell's best patronising old timegit voice)

And understanding and communicating IS the key, that's obvious to anyone fron NI who tore the veil of bigotry from their eyes and realised the other lot weren't monsters. It's very hard to find someone different andtherefor scarey, when you spend some time with them, and once you know ONE of "them" isn't a nine headed creature, it instantly follows that they can't "all" be, therefor everything that keeps you a bigot is fundamentally wrong.

I'm ranting again....But what's being done on the mainland regarding non-christians and what have you, is SO simmilar to the various moronic attempts to do the same thing for both lots here at various times....all it does is breed resentment in the those already predisposed to hate, and suspicion in the normally passive.

this rant could go on for days, but I must desist.

And it's "PHOTOREFLECTIVELY CHALLENGED TREE" you fucking Nazi!!!!

Ha ha ha ha ha - no really! it is apparently the in thing this year. However, our local tree 'farm' can't grow them - I only have the real thing! But 10/10 I agree on that one.

Doesn't Steve go on?................ ooh, I can feel that duck word coming on.......... oh and Barney shouting 'c'mon', unfortunately not nearby! That's Bernard not Barney as in Army - obviously, I thought I'd point that out for the good ole' cousins over the water!

PS to clarify I was listening to LWTUA live where he constantly goes 'c'mon!' - just to avoid confusion!

And unwanted and unnecessary embarrassment - of course.

Sod off! anyway, it's all gone - again! I just don't know who keeps drinking it all..have to go to Tesco again 2mrw now! Listening to Joni Mitchell 'they shake their heads, they say I've changed......'; I used to go to Sainsbury's and they make such a deal out of it! Friends heh?

Even if I had another bottle I wouldn't open it, it wasn't that great, but you know, I am a martyr. Sarcastic sod.
