Yep, finally got a new car after almost a year and a half sponging off the grans for theirs when they're not driving them :jump:

It's a 1991 Honda Accord, and apart from needing to get insurance on it and an oil change, it's pretty much damn near perfect for me

What's more....it's got a CD player. That works :thumb:

I've already got a little collection put up in the portable CD folder I bought a few years back but haven't had a chance to use. Some of the ones in there:

Johnny Cash (Live at Folsom Prison) Modest Mouse (Good News...) The Rutles The Jam (Compact Snap) Brian Wilson (Smile) Beastie Boys Anthology (both discs) The Clash's debut album (American version) The Byrds (Sweetheart of the Rodeo) Al Green (Greatest Hits) New Order (Substance Disc One)...of course! :p The Cure (Staring at The Sea) Nick Drake (Five Leaves Left) Roger Miller (Best of) B%S (Lazy Line Painter Jane single) Lou Reed (Transformer) Nevermind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols

And a few more...:music:

Now watch me wreck the first time I try to change discs while driving :faint: :evil4:

Anyway, I'm so happy I don't have to rely on the radio for entertainment anymore

it's about time, son!

when i bought my used (or pre-driven, as they say) car, it came with a free 6-disc changer. that's what sold me on the car, frankly.

Taboo # 7, your tastes in music indicate you may be a punk. Are you?

Keep the MiniDisc. Or better yet, get a stereo that plays both MiniDisk and CD. :thumb:

Anything less than MiniDisk, and you might as well be getting an 8-track tape deck. :ignore:

here's a tip use cdrs, and don't put any cds you want to keep in those little plastic sleeves, as it will scratch them.
