It's safe, no worry, but you might want to put the volume down a little, but do not mute, audio is ESSENTIAL.

anyone else's parents make them go on the annual tour of the neighbourhoods to look at the christmas lights?

there was always at least one family that had a life-sized nativity scene in the front yard and life-sized santa sleigh and reindeer on the roof. sickening sight.

I must say I started to laugh a lot when I saw the fir tree (?)...

I actually like lots of lights, but only lights. other things that light up, flash, spell stuff out, play jingle bells on a piezzo speaker, adorn the roof or get in my way drive me fucking nuts.

a few lights and an indoor christmas tree.

Minimalist.

I hate my neighbour and his inflated Santa.

Oh yes, we would drive around the neighborhood, looking like we're casing houses. The people that lived up the road from where I grew up put out the most ridiculous display. Anyone who has seen National Lampoon's Christmas will know what I'm talking about. They had lights anywhere and everywhere, a huge Santa on the roof, a nativity scene, gigantic elves, a huge sleigh...simple is good

My neighbor has an inflated snow globe and an inflated Homer Simpson as Santa. I'll trade you neighbors

This reminds me of the fountain ballet in Las Vegas that I saw on TV. I like the eyes on the house, very comical and expressive.

I have a good air pistol. I'm coming to your house right now. We'll burst the globe and Homer, then get straight over to Spotty's neighbour!

Actually, that's not a half bad idea...hmmm....and I could probably score a few extra points on that Dodgy quiz...really, though the globe and Homer are really horrible and they light up.

And this is kind of unrelated but does anyone here have a dog? I just got one a few months ago and I'm wondering what to expect of him with the Christmas tree.

well all i can say is"what a miserable bunch of bastards you are". so what if people shove a load of tacky lights up at crimbo they are having FUN you know that thing you do when enjoying the moment instead of having your head up your arse. preston council has just cancelled the christmas carol event in the town hall in favour of a multi cultural event later in the new year(the mayors last name just happens to be patel). what a crock of fucking shite i say,we should celebrate crimbo with as much garishness and tackiness as possible. lets face it all the religion has been sucked out of it so why not?. its ok for the chinese to dress up as dragons and dance like daft cunts with bangers going off every where but oh no thats culture?. culture my arse its an excuse to have fun. lighten up you miserable bastards. HUMBUG.

I have to say, as a Council worker, it amazes me how many council tenants put up external Christmas lights in a Blackpool stylee. Half of them can't pay their rent but their leccy bill must be a grand a week! Although i'm sure some have connected to street lights!

Still it gives me a festive glow!

Yep, I am a Grinch until school lets out. I don't feel festive yet at all. Then I start getting depressed about all the underprivileged children...

I decide on a year by year basis whether to be a scrooge ass git or the milk of human kindness. This year for about the 4th running I'm feeling like a proper christmasy kinda guy/ not sure how I'll manage it, cos I can't drink and I'm too honest to lose my giro :)
