Don't know if this has been discussed already, but have The Smiths been inducted into the UK H.O.F. yet???
What are the odds of the gang getting together and doing two or three songs on stage again? After the legal ranglings that have gone on between the bandmates, you couldn't expect them to reunite. I wouldn't be surprised if Marr and Morrissey were to do some songs together...

I think Mozz and Marr might still get together as a one-off,but Mike Joyce? To this day,he's the only one getting royalties on the Smiths albums,according to a statement Mozz made,that Uncle Liam picked up.What with all the legal wrangling,and cutting even Andy Roarke out of the royalties,I wouldn't want to be a fly on THAT wall.
How is that possible? How is it that he is the only one receiving royalties? Who's his lawyer? Did a judge have it in for Mozza??

Someone posted a big spiel about it here recently. Basically the case was heard in Mozza's absence so he got royally fucked.

It's Mike Joyce.He probably won't have to work again.He's sued for millions,even to the tune of Mozzer's mum's house.In Mozzer's absence,Joyce filed something called a "default judgement" but neglected to tell the judge there were other members of the band! Explains why not that long ago,Mozzer said I hope he dies a very painful death!

Its about time that drummers & bass players got the recognition they deserve. From what I have heard Morrissey was a control freak, and treated the rest of the band with utter contempt. What goes around comes around...........

Quite possibly the most inaccurate thing I have ever read on this board, which is quite an achievement. Morrissey didnt treat the band with 'utter contempt.' Even after the Smiths split, mozzer still employed Joyce and Rourke in his first solo band. As for the control freak remark. I dont know on what grounds you base that.
