Just came back from Depeche Mode — Forum Archive

It's the 4th time I saw them, no.. 5th! (twice in 1993, then 1998 (Singles Tour) then 2000 or 2001 (Exciter Tour) and now).

What can I saw, they are still at the top of their art, the live shows are always beautifully done.

I must say I enjoyed how the stage and visual was, for once it didn't look like Dave & a bunch of robots.. I guess Anton Corjbin did the art direction for the show once again.

Obviously, the 2nd half of the show was full of crowd pleaseres, and it worked completly.

Can't say anything about the site, although there could have been a few swaps, like Strangelove and Stripped, I left in the middle of Goodbye (goodnight?) lovers to rush to the parking and save time.

I recommand the show, although they did plenty of tracks of Playing The Angel, the show was better than the Exciter tour one... I still can't hear nor say anything, but it's worth it ;)

DM are very good live...i saw them 5 years ago and it was impressive.

Definitely, we all have weaknesses, and DM really justify having them.

DM's always been outstanding live.Glad they're getting back to the lavish visual sets like the Violator/Devotional/Exciter tours.The Singles tour seemed very basic and a little restrained. Devotional Tour was just the best ever! Did they play Everything Counts? Surprised they dropped it from the last tour,it's always been a good fan sing-along.

Yes they do play Everything Counts at the end of the first encore.
