So the more you spend, the more you save.

Sainsbury's have Fetzer Sundial Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon at £3.99 a bottle compared to their usual £7.99 proce. Bloody good stuff ![]()
Tesco finest: Chateau Neuf du Pape 2003 half price at £6.50. Marvellous.
Tesco also having Chablis giveaway, £3 off a £7 bottle (I think).:)
I was thinking of joining a wine club, cos i never know what to choose anyway. Our local Tesco stocks so many you're there 20 minutes deciding. Works out much cheaper too. My friend is in the Times one as well and every time i visit the wine is delish!
:p
i'm currently on about 3/4 of a bottle of red. it is friday night here after all. don't go past our aussie cab savs, merlots and shirazes, top stuff there. anyways i think i may just have to finish the bottle.
The problem with wine clubs is that once it's in the house you feel obliged to drink it whereas if you have to make an effort to go to Tesco you think twice before submitting to temptation (that is unless JT has a bottle or two stashed in the cellar!) ![]()
I never have to think twice about being tempted to wine. I just buy it!! There's always a bottle of red open in my house - ah luv it!

Well if you do decide to join, let me know. If I name you as someone they should send the introductory offer to - you get three free bottles of Rioja and I get two free bottles of Claret!
i only buy/drink wine when i'm cooking. i'll just drink whats left after i've finished cooking or if i go out for a meal.

Hey you? Meaning what exactly? Chateauneuf de Pape is OK; never trust any Supermarkets 'Finest' range; it can be c**p.Have considered a Wine Club, but tend to run in a shop on the way home from work, and buy pretty much the same thing over again - Blossom Hill (that was a JOKE!!!! - it doesn't even make a good sauce............).
As Mike isn't around; I vote Costco as having the best wine offers at the moment - but you do have to buy them by a case... which is fine by me really.
I now have to go to a meeting.......:)
