Plenty of mind altering substances, or beer if that's not your thing and money. Be hardcore - Sleep where you drop!
Toilet paper, wellies, beer, fags, asprins and bottles of water. You may try taking a tent and a sleeping bag. Or if you are over a certain age, book into the nearest hotel and walk in!!
apart from the usual tent and sleeping bag. then its:-
-loads of bog roll
-headache tablets
- wellies
you can get most other stuff while your there
festivals this year, just the O2 Wireless Festival 
Festivals are, basically, shit. Unless you're a teenager and it's all new and exciting. Don't camp. That's a given. Book into a nice hotel in a nearby town and walk in/out of the site each day, clean and refreshed, after a good night's kip.

So did I, but it didn't stop me getting covered in mud and soaking wet and god did I ache the next day from all that standing up, it's a killer on your lower back...
