I demand a tesco's in texas.
Safeway (before they all shut down.) That grotty McWalMart (cheap.. cheap!) dollar stores (even cheaper!)

PS The prices on the booze - and the food are excellent, and they have some lovely smelly church candles in stock at the moment! For Christmas, I just wanted to clarify that I am not in fact weird in any way, or a church goer or anything.......I'll leave this I think.......

Can't say I have! Have visited many over the years in Brum City Centre - only for the free sandwiches mind.......tbh, you know, I have not been to a casino in absolutely ages -....any good ones in Manchester? I might persuade anyone with membership to watch the master at work come Jan!

If you really miss Safeway, get yourself to either a Tom Thumb in the DFW area...or Randall's in Austin or Houston...both are owned by Safeway...so you can find all their "store" brands...
Now...as for where I get my washing supplies...
Target (convenient, since I work there)
H.E.B.-one of the few grocery chains that has been able to stand up to the evil empire that is Wal-mart!
Walgreen-since the one right down the street is open 24 hours, in case I forget to purchase the soap, and feel the need to do laundry at 3 in the morning!

yes we do. we've had them for about three years. the competion with our duopoly of supermakets is very welcome. i rememember them from germany. actually i was in the paper here for the opening of our first local store. top quality at low prices. i got a tv and dvd player from them as well.

Yeah its good for stuff like that. My parents have just bought an all singing all dancing flat screen monitor for £130 that you can't buy anywhere else for less than £500!
