doesn't help. i still feel like crap. i know many would envy my lifestyle, but since my mother died.... i know i should get over it, but it just doesn't happen instantly.
it was about 4 months ago. she was sick for a long time with cancer, and i took care of her. she was a difficult patient though. i've just had my and her first birthday without her. it wasn't easy. and now christmas.
Yeah, i know it will be hard. My friend lost his mum just before last Christmas. It's important to try and get out and enjoy it, she wouldn't want you all to be moping about.
Hope you have a good one. I'm sure everyone here thinks the same.

i know she would want me to get on withh things. and i did for the first 2 months everything was fine, and then it hit.
You're gonna have downs, but you'll have ups too! Surround yourself with family/friends. I'm sure they'll look after you. You can always go and have a quiet moment when you need one. Hope you manage to have a good time anyway.:)
I don't even want to think about losin my mum....I dunno what would become of me.
Cheers for knackering a really funny thread there too Ron. I didn't finish the story...were they in alabama....did they get it on anyway?
Soz mate I'm a vicious cunt but worth the risk in case I managed to rase a smile, the greatest of all healers. :D

Hey I was only rippin on you for the hell of it.
It's OK to be bummed but as a fellow NOOLer I had a duty to tweek yer nose.
I lost my dad just before XMAS lasy years so both my parents are gone. That is why i HATE XMAS.When people ask"ARE YOU ALL SET FOR XMAS?"-my reply is FUCK OFF!:D
My grandad actually snuffed it just before xmas 3 years ago. But it ddn't bother or annoy me. He looked pretty pissed off down here, and as far as I'm concerned he just caught up with the wife he'd been ,missing so long.
Whinging is for us left behind not those who have gone.
EDIT...y'know...whinging's not what I meant....excessive grieving is what I meant (or if it's my funeral...fooking ANY!)
there can be nothing worse than losing a parent just before christmas,if only because they know where they have hid your presents. oh and ronald if you pop down to melbourne to see your brother pick us up some dim sims will yer. i aint had any for nearly ten years, so see there can be someone worse of than you.:)
"Mom called herself Sweet Juliette and I called myself The Prince of Pleasure, and unfortunately, neither one of us had any idea who the other was," said flabbergasted Daniel.
"The conversations even got a little racy a couple of times.
"But I really started to fall for her, because there seemed to be a sensitive side that you don't see in many girls.
"She sent me poems she had written and told me about her dreams and desires, and it was really very romantic.
"The truth is, I got to see a side of my mom I'd never seen before. I'm grateful for that."
