This could be a matter of international importance (maybe not) but it's something us Mac users should be aware of.

IE is dead!

Do any Mac users use Internet Explorer to browse the internet? It's Firefox all the way for me - no problems for me whatsoever :D

I still have a black "Taking It To The Macs!" T-shirt they sent me for being one of the first hundred billion people to download IE 3.0.

Does it get the chicks? Oh, yeah. :evil4:

That was really unexpected… but it sounds good.

With Google buying Opera rumours... I strongly fear the web developper hell is coming back to haunt us...

Oh god, not again... :(

From a user point of view, I don't mind too much, I'm using IE and FireFox on my PC, both to do various tasks, but as a web developper, it's hell... IE has so much nicier features that ease the work of developper that FireFox doesn't support (key is that those feature aren't standard though), but it's so great that there is no way in hell FireFox will be able to win any corporate market without those functionnalities.

Plus, IE7 will eventually come out, and it's packed of very interesting features, and with features that should have been there for a long time (tab browsing is the first in mind)... notice how long they took, IE6 was introduced in 2001, I feal the next one will be amazing....
