Boxing Day

Boxing day is obviously a very sporting day,but there is never any boxing on...ever! Any thoughts?Why call it Boxing day?Something to do with boxes?

according to the c.o.d., it is named after the day that christmas boxes were traditionaly given.

Mornings:D I had a delightful spread waiting upon arrival,I was most grateful to Mrs BRF,whom bless her,had spent the entire day catering for MY family members..I was undeniably knackered, as was she..especially after I gave her a portion of my own in the bedroom:DAlls well that ends well...Nightshift tonight tho, groan!relentless Chrimbo schedule...The bairns have stopped asking Where's Dad?and are now asking.. They did indeed Johnny which is the main thing..i was on the phone to the little tykes all day..They had no mercy on me this morning tho, diving all over us"get up and see what Santa brought us Dad"me thinking:"I fucking know..I am SantaHo Ho Ho!"They think they can just go back to being naughty now he's been Kids, eh.Tsk:D but if they don't let me kip before nights...well this Santa will become the Grinch before you can say.. toy tower bonfire:D

It's the BIG manchester derby today. Flixton V FC United. Grass roots football, except there is no grass on the pitch, just dog shite.

The purpose of boxing day is to repair all the bits of your head and guts you fucked over on Xmas day may take a little longer for me :D
