Just saw it on Travel Channel, and wonder what the point is.

It will be when they get their gaming licences through. Yeah Blackpool put the lights on between beginning of September and end of October,does attract a lot of tourists at a time when normal tourism is starting to die down. Only downside is trying to drive down the coast behind a succession of cars full of kids,driving at about 2 mph!

when i was a kid i used to love the nursery rymme and picture boards in bispham part of blackpool lights.do they still do them ?

Happy New Year mate,wot's this about sneaking in the Midland?? Have a good night? Yeah the Bispham end is the best part of the lights,with all the moving displays and stuff.My mum and dad live in Cleveleys so I'm always up that neck of the woods.
