God, that's a surprise. He just recovered a while ago.

Old, overweight, heart issues. Big suprise.

isn't his son facing corruption charges. sharon may also be implicated as his son is one of his advisors. not that i wish him ill health or anything like that. this stress may have contributed to his stroke.

he's had another massive stroke and is close to death.

there has been an emergency cabinet meeting, and power has been transferred to his deputy.

can't say i sympathise too much. i moved to israel a week before his poorly-timed visit to the dome of the rock and speech claiming the land for israel sparked the second intifada; i'm not exactly his biggest supporter. constantly being woken up by machine-gun fire does that to you.
