considering that you hold them out the window yourself, i don't think it matters which side you drive on. although i think having a passenger with you to act as card flipper and holder might be useful and safer.

Yeah, wouldn't you be kind of distracted while you're looking for the appropriate card?

nice stuff. I'll have to get some of those.

here's a tip, if you are being tailgated turn on your window washers, as it will splash on their windscreen.

I wanted to invent a digital display for my car which will flash up extremely abusive words. Unfortunately, as i am no good at electronics - i've sacked it.

At the front it would be written backwards so the car in front can read it in their mirror. And things like "Back off you Twat" for the car behind.

I'm a usually a pretty calm, easy going chick but something about other car drivers turns me into a psycho.:banghead: :banghead:

great minds think alike. i've always wanted to do the same, with buttons next to the steering wheel that would display different sayings, especially: DON'T TAILGATE, ASSHOLE!

Sticker on the back reading...... "Ebola Monkey transport inc" or "nitro gliscerine onboard" ought to cut the tailgating.

And in your case it would be true

...If you had cars there of course.

i'll have you know I've had a very reasonable offer on trading my donkey cart for one of those new fangled tractors.

And If I take you for a spin in it I can get one of those visor things that says "steve" on my side and "nutter" on yours (or maybe "trouble" and "more trouble"?:D)

Having to drive a lot now for work, I steer clear, as much as possible, areas where drivers might come into conflict, it's just not worth the aggravation anymore (my worst experience was waving a pair of eyeglasses at an idiot driver, motioning that he should get a pair to use. Oh boy, did HE get irate, luckily my exit was right there, so further confrontation was avoided.)

Only thing that really irritates me is drivers at dawn or dusk, in rainy and dark weather during the winter, who do not turn their lights on. Visibility's bad enough as it is, not everybody is gonna see you driving through the road spray you fucking morons.

I plan on hooking up my Saturn with a large diesel-class horn (or.. even better, ripping a foghorn off one of those tugboats) and scaring the ever loving piss out of anyone who acts like a jerk on the freeway.

Especially the teens who hang out the windows trying to play footsie with another car or whatever they do flailing about half out of their seat.

Officer thinkin here melly. locomotive horn is the way to go....you don't get the depth of a tugboat, but it wont take half yer engine power to make it go either.

i wanna get a taxi like Bez's in Pimp My Ride.

A good way to get annoying drivers at night....particularly in dodgy spots like N Ireland and particularly if you have 2 or 4 people in the car.... Just start following them for a while...15 mins is usually enough to freak the crap outta them. If there are 2 of you in dark clothes in the car....make lots of "radio" movements and duck into the gloe compartment a lot......they're a cert to think you're the cops...even if you're driving a nissan micra. If there are 4 of you....just try and look really hard.....4 blokes in car is dodgy enough in itself (females should try to look male)

of course, one could always do it 'LA style' and just shoot drivers who piss you off.

Can you add extra pages to it..for the people who don't indicate going round roundabouts.

SO THAT'S WHAT INDICATORS ARE FOR! DICK-HEAD!

Truth. I like your idea with the bumper sticker proclaiming infectious, ravaging diseases and the like. I'm tempted to at least do that.

The old middle digit isn't as effective as it once was, and mooning is awful hard to do while driving alone.

Another good one, is to see whih country has had the latest outbreak of birdflu....stick the FIA country sticker for that on your car (plates as well if you like)...and fill up the parcel shelf with tissues and all sorts of cold and flue remedies. That should keep them nice and far back.

If someone REALLY pisses you off.....watch where they park....and gaffer tape a fish up underneath there car somewhere....used to do this on busses, taping a mackerel to the underside of the seat. bad medicine.
