If we all remember to keep the off-topic posts to the off-topic board, and try not to hijack on-topic threads with complete bollocks (it might help, Spotnick, if you did some moderation occasionally on Digital Republic, which is the usual breeding ground for hissy fits, or at least widened the moderator access to that forum), then there shouldn't really be any problem. That's what it will take though, people actually accepting a little bit of responsibility themselves.
