hey- some monkeys have fun just doing what they wanna do. 'sides. tearing up any of the existing floor covering to try and buff up & restore the originally layed floor is always an excellent idea. -and this is how it feels to be on a payroll company.

A typical 14ft by 11ft floor would cost approx £180 for the flooring . I'd fit it for £70.

On my Sons' life, I am gonna lay a laminate floor in my bedroom today, for us it is beneficial as my wife suffers from Asthma, and carpets trap the dust.

We can discuss the benefits of such flooring on the 28th :)

Why do all you laminated flooring lovers go to the expense of having this flooring done then put a fuckin rug in the middle of the floor, just get some carpet down, its on offer at carpet right and you could save up to 60%, sounds good to me....... please read the small print, terms and conditions apply

Carpeting is a cesspool of filth. Wood flooring for me. I'm really tempted to rip out my carpeting when the landlord ain't looking.

yer cheap laminate / plastic (ooh it looks just like wood)flooring is shite. dont waste yer cash on it. If you really have to have wooden flooring go for the expensive stuff. To cover my room measuring 10m2 cost £500, including felt boards uunderlay. That said, the fucker bubbled up and delaminated after just 3 months very light usage. I got me money back from B&Q after many phone calls and abusive letters and did local repairs with glue in the areas affected. wooden floors are noisy, cold, slippery, and no good for shagging on. Carpets are definately the way forward.
