Saw 'em on tour for Fear of a Black Planet, but they're ab-so-fuckin'-lutely worthless on record without the Bomb Squad. The "new" stuff is a shitstorm.

but Kool thing/sonic Youth was good.

They're supposed to be past their prime, but saw 'em a few years ago and they were amazing - live drumming from (a disturbingly youthful) Prof Griff and comedy "drumming" from Flav!!

it sounds like something one of the members of S1W would say. i believe a few of them (including professor griff) were members of the NOI.

One of the few rap groups I can stand. I haven't heard anything new in that genre I like in the past few years except for Common and some Talib Kweli. I don't want to get too off topic but I heard some Biggie for the first time about a week ago. The chorus: got to get some money Gonna F$ck some ho's.... over and over again. Not too good......
